One of my favorite party games is Quelf, of course, but I think she's looking for a birthday party game... hmmm, well, actually, its a baby shower game, but I love to make these little pacifiers out of life savers and jelly beans and make necklaces out of them, and then ban people from saying "baby." When you catch someone you take one of their necklaces, whoever has the most wins! You could do this for a birthday, too, make something else, or use clothespins, and forbid people from saying the birthday person's name, or "birthday" or something.
