And a Happy New Year to us!

We are going to ring in the new year in style! With puke buckets galore and the sweet aroma of diarrhea filling the air (around the changing table).

No partying for us, but that is alright, we won't spend a ton of money on snacks and we won't be on the road, which is something we have always vowed not to do on New Years. Now for the dilemma of letting our 18yo roam the roads after midnight. We don't like to be on the road with people drinking and driving.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year's celebration tonight!

Can you see the air?

Last night Trinity was sleeping in my bed, as well as Samuel, and she was fussing that she was "scared" in my room. We discussed how she shouldn't be scared because dad and mom are there and God is there.
"No, God is far away."
God lives in your heart, honey.
"No, God lives in heaven."
Yes, but God's Spirit is here with us, He is in the room with us.
"I don't see him."
No, you can't see God, but He is here. Just like your brains. Do you have a brain?
"No."
Yes, you do! Your brain is in your head, but can you see it?
"No."
Do you have blood?
"Yes."
Can you see your blood?
"No." (she is getting it now, by the grin on her face.)
God is like that, He is there, but you can't see Him.
Like air! You can't see air, can you?
"I can see the air in Hope-Anne's room!"

Oh, dear. That is true. Her hamsters bedding floats around the room sometimes, lol.

This poor, neglected blog.........

Not that I think anyone reads this blog, but I have been neglecting it. So, I vow to not only not neglect it, but to also start posting things besides giveaways.
I keep using my main blog for my reviews, which is good, because that is where my readers are. But this blog is where the big bad G-monster has left my ratings alone. I kind of like getting paid.

What kind of a theme should I use here? I could be all about children, or all about me, or about good things in the world or blogs or life. A positive blog! The other blog can show my swinging emotions and this one will stick to the Good Stuff.

I'll have to do some more thinking on this, but I will be posting more than contests here now. Maybe highlights of things I write about. Or things my pastor doesn't want to read in my other blog, lol, like feminine issues.

Sunday Contests!

My dream contest is out there again! You know the one. My quest continues! TrueBlueTitan is blogging his journey to becoming an internet entrepreneur and has decided to give away a Nintendo Wii, YES! A NINTENDO Wii, just in time for Christmas. Rob has a post on RSS basics for those who don't understand it's purpose yet. It is a pretty thorough post on feeds. I am subscribed via email, because I prefer to do my reading that way if it is an option on blogs, but many people prefer a reader so they can check all blogs at the same time.
Rob and I also have the same question. I think we are on opposite sides of the fence, though. He has a question about whether or not to post the full posts or to use excerpts so you can fit more topics on a page. I want my readers to be able to see everything without scrolling forever for things, but I get annoyed when I have to click to read someone's full post, so I resist the urge to use excerpts.
Leave a comment on any post on his blog and also subscribe to the RSS feed via email or a reader.
He also has a great post about making your blog unique so you can get recognized. That is a great post for someone who wants to start a blog but hasn't started yet, or even someone who just started. That is something I completely agree with, you need something that screams something about who you are or what you are passionate about.
Write a blog post and include links back to both TrueBlueTitan.com with the text internet entrepreneur and the contest post - the post should be at least 250 words.
And that’s it! Ends December 14.

Laura William's Musings is having a REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Baby Jamz Mix Master Chair. And REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Baby Jamz Dance Mat. Both end on December 6th. I don't know how she managed this giveaway, I bow to her connections, lol!
